The Diabetic Survivor is a diabetes awareness project and store run by Santiago, a visual designer who has been living with type 1 diabetes since 1997. Every design starts as an illustration — drawn to connect with the diabetes community, build awareness and remove the clinical aesthetic from what is, after all, just everyday life.
