Jack from Australia (@jackabetic) tests alternative FreeStyle Libre sensor placements
One question comes up constantly in the community: can you wear a FreeStyle Libre somewhere other than the back of your upper arm? Our mate Jack (@jackabetic) decided to actually put it to the test — trying different spots and documenting the whole thing, funny and honest as always.
Worth saying plainly: the back of the upper arm is the only site Abbott officially approves, and everything Jack tries is off-label. Accuracy, adhesion and lag vary by site and by person, so watch it as one person's experiment, not a how-to — and if a reading ever doesn't match how you feel, check with a fingerstick and follow your own care team's advice.
