The concept came from the device itself. The Eversense system has three components that work together: the implanted sensor under the skin, the on-body transmitter that sits on top, and the adhesive sticker that holds the transmitter in place. Three separate things, each dependent on the others, each doing their part so you can get your glucose reading.
The illustration depicted all three holding hands — the sensor, the transmitter and the sticker, cheerfully together. A friendship between components that quite literally keep people living with diabetes going every day. It’s the kind of concept that only works when you actually understand how the technology functions from the inside, which is part of why I enjoy this kind of collaboration. There’s real subject matter to draw from.
